Universal Orlando's CityWalk reopens May 14th

Universal Orlando announced today that the CityWalk will reopen on the 14th:

"We will begin limited operation of select locations at Universal Orlando's CityWalk on Thursday, May 14 as we take the first steps toward reopening our destination. The health and safety of our guests and team members remains our top priority and we are taking specific steps that include screening our guests and team members, social distancing and requiring everyone to wear a face covering. We will also limit capacity at venues and increase our already aggressive cleaning and disinfection procedures.

Selected locations are scheduled to be open daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and include:

  • Selection of full-service restaurants and quick-service dining locations: Red Oven Pizza Bakery, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant & Market, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville (outdoor seating and Lone Palm Area only), Voodoo Donut and Auntie Anne's. Each restaurant will have a menu and limited seating available.

Universal Studios Store, the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company retail store and select merchandise carts, as well as Hollywood Golf drive-in.

  • We will continue to monitor conditions and make adjustments as we move forward. Additional locations may be added over time and hours of operation are subject to change. We will continue to work closely with local health officials and our own health and safety.

  • CDC Guidelines:

  1. Our team members will undergo temperature controls and wear face shields.
  2. We will implement temperature checks for each guest upon arrival. If a guest has a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, they will not be allowed to enter CityWalk.
  3. We will require guests to cover their faces during their visit. We will have facial covers available for purchase at cost.
  4. Each location will limit the ability to help reinforce social distancing, and all chairs and tables will be cleaned and disinfected after each seating. High contact surfaces throughout CityWalk will also be cleaned and disinfected frequently.
  5. Cashless payments will be available at all locations and free parking will be available at no charge.
  6. We encourage guests to follow CDC guidelines and perform temperature checks prior to arrival. Guests should assess their own risk as they determine whether to visit. And, in accordance with CDC guidelines, we specifically do not recommend older adults or high-risk individuals with serious underlying medical conditions visit our facility.

Universal Orlando's theme parks and hotels, as well as Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk Hollywood, remain closed until at least May 31.
